Earlier in the night, Jamie Noble searched for a tag team partner for his match against the Burchill siblings, but was turned down by Jillian, who went so far as to mock the Superstar with her rendition of Beck’s “Loser.” But her performance was interrupted by the entrance of Dolph Ziggler, who continued his habit of introducing himself to various Raw Superstars. Just prior to the match, things got even worse for Noble as the 2008 King of the Ring – and Noble’s rival for Layla’s affections – William Regal took a seat on the entranceway, with the lovely Diva at his side. Before the bell rang however, former Women’s Champion Mickie James rushed to the ring, and with her help, Noble was able make Paul Burchill tap out.

Mickie competed at the WWE/THQ European Superstar Challenge, which was held on Thursday afternoon in Madrid, Spain - she defeated Candice Michelle in the quarter finals, before losing to her former tag team partner Kofi Kingston in the semi finals. She was the only girl to make it to the semi finals. Shad Gaspard from Cryme Tyme won the event, beating his partner JTG, $CM Punk and Kofi to win the title.

I’m so glad they finally reanimated Mickie and redid her entrances. They’ve also given Mickie the Mickiranna which can be seen in the Wii video here.

Mickie may not be on TV at the moment (or get a recent photoshoot) but she’s today’s Daily Diva over at WWE.com with a stunning outtake from her Nice Genes photoshoot from last year.
